Community Invited to Weigh In on Van Dam/Church Street Traffic Study
The City of Saratoga Springs is asking our neighbors to share feedback on a new traffic impact study focused on the Van Dam Street, Broadway, and Church Street corridor. This draft report, prepared by MJ Engineering, explores truck traffic, current road conditions, and potential improvements. If you live, work, or travel through this area, now’s the perfect time to help shape its future!
Residents are encouraged to review the study and offer input by emailing their thoughts and suggestions to saratogatraffic@mjteam.com. The draft report will be available for comment until shortly after April 11, when MJ Engineering plans to finalize its recommendations.
Potential changes within the corridor could help reduce congestion and improve overall road safety. By lending your voice, you’ll play an important role in guiding decisions that affect our day-to-day travel experiences. Community engagement is a cornerstone of Saratoga Springs’ approach to public works, and your feedback makes all the difference.
How to Get Involved:
• Review the Draft Study: Access the Van Dam/Church Street Traffic Assessment report (available on the City’s website).
• Send Your Comments: Email saratogatraffic@mjteam.com before April 11.
• Ask Questions: For more details, feel free to email James Salaway at James.salaway@saratoga-springs.org.
Let’s make our roads safer and more efficient—together! Whether you’re a driver, cyclist, or pedestrian, your perspective matters.
